About

Launched at the beginning of 2009, the goal of this outreach portal is to provide the most up to date outreach opportunities available to anyone internal and external to the Tufts University Community.  The visionaries of the portal are listed below:

Lincoln Filene Center for Community Partnerships

The Lincoln Filene Center for Community Partnerships (LFC), a program of the Jonathan M. Tisch College for Citizenship and Public Service at Tufts University, facilitates connections between Tufts and its host communities of Boston’s Chinatown, Medford, Somerville, and an environmental partnership with the Mystic Watershed Collaborative. The LFC has also recently begun to work collaboratively with the Grafton campus.

Center for Engineering Educational and Outreach

CEEO’s purpose is to “improve engineering education for all ages” in three core areas - undergraduate outreach programs, educational technology development programs, and education research. The CEEO brings together teachers, engineers, professors, and other educators to develop curricula and lesson plans that will create dynamic, interdisciplinary learning environments in K-12 classrooms.

Jonathan M. Tisch College of Citizenship and Public Service

The mission of the Jonathan M. Tisch College of Citizenship and Public Service is to ensure that students graduate from Tufts prepared to be committed public citizens and leaders who take an active role in building stronger communities and societies.
