Eliot-Pearson Children's School - this school serves as a model and demonstration facility, providing a training and observation site for new and experienced teachers and a research facility for faculty and supervised students in the Department of Child Development.
Home School Connection Program - This program assesses children and mediates to strengthen communication between elementary teachers and parents.
Institute for Applied Research in Youth Development - a longitudinal study sponsored by the National 4-H Council. Researchers are seeking to learn how positive influences in the lives of youth help protect them from getting involved in problem behaviors, such as substance abuse, unsafe sex, school underachievement and failure and delinquency and violence.
Jumpstart - Early childhood program pairs college students with preschool children at risk in Head Start and other low-income preschools to help prepare them to succeed when they enter school.
Leonard Carmichael Society: Literacy and Education - a sub-group of the Leonard Carmichael Society which offers services and advocacy to promote literacy and education in Tufts' host communities. This sub-group includes ASAP (SAT Tutoring), ESL (English as a Second Language) for OneSource, Junior Achievement, Kids to College, and Tutoring.

This sub-group includes Animal Aid, Best Buddies, Elderly Outreach, Tufts Mystic Water Watch, National Student Partnerships (NSP), and Special Olympics.
Masters of Arts in Teaching: Urban Teacher Training Collaborative Internship - Tufts students complete field work requirements for teacher licensure through traditional student teaching or the Urban Teacher Training Collaborative (UTTC) Internship while completing Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) coursework.
